TRUST and the San communities of South Africa are proud to have their San Code of Research Ethics now available in Afrikaans! The code comprises five values: Respect, Honesty, Care, Justice & Fairness and Process. One of the main requirements of the code is to involve the San meaningfully in the whole process of research, which starts at the early stages of planning and includes sharing the research results before publication. The code is a milestone achievement and we hope that it will contribute to more equitable research with the San communities.
