Solveig first studied political science and international relations at the University of Montreal and obtained her Master degree in European Studies at the University Paris-Sorbonne. She also attended the London International Model United Nations, where she represented the Finnish Minister of Foreign Affairs on the issue of “standardized rules of urbanization” at the UNDP committee. Before joining Inserm as researcher, Solveig was an economic analyst at the French Development Agency (AFD) assessing the management performance of water and electricity companies in sub-Saharan Africa and a junior consultant for European public funds and financial instruments at the consulting agency Welcomeurope.
