A week ahead of the major European Parliament workshop on Ethics Dumping, DNDi, the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative, promotes the Global Code of Conduct for Research in Resource-Poor Settings. DNDi’s Executive Director Bernard Pécoul expressed his support in a message on Twitter emphasizing the importance of respect and care to underpin research involving vulnerable populations. This is excellent news as DNDi’s achievements for vulnerable patients in lower income settings are exemplary.
