Dr François Bompart, MD, is the Deputy Head and Medical Director of Sanofi’s Access to Medicines department. He has been chairing, since 2012, the Global Health Working Group of the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA). As a result of over 15 years of experience in clinical trials in resource-limited countries, he has developed a specific interest in the field of ethical issues related with clinical research.
